For the climate of lakes we have decided to pick two specific lakes that are both located in different climates.
The first lake we chose was Lake Victoria. Lake Victoria is located in the east part of Africa, on the equator. It receives 80% of it's rainfall from direct precipitation. On average, Lake Victoria receives 130 to 150 centimeters of rain each year. Th

e temperature ranges from the mid 10's C to the high 20's C .
The lake remains consistently warm throughout the year.

The other lake we chose was Great Bear Lake. Great Bear Lake is located in the northwest territories, Canada. The lake's annual averge tempeture is 7.2 degrees Celsius and receives 23.6 centimeters of precipitation per year. The Lake has four seasons though out the year. It is covered with ice for about eight months a year (November to July).
